CTL Eurocollege proudly announces the recent visit of our head of hotel and tourism department, Dr Vasilis Papavasiliou, to the prestigious Macau University of Tourism for a two-day academic exchange in June 25.

The visit included a comprehensive campus tour, knowledge-sharing sessions with faculty members, and two academic contributions: a seminar and a guest lecture titled “Beyond the Script: Tour Guides’ Narratives in Troubled Destinations.”

This lecture examined the evolving role of tour guides as cultural narrators, particularly in regions marked by historical tensions or conflict. It focused on how guides shape visitors’ perceptions by blending facts, local experiences, and empathy into powerful storytelling.

This visit reflects CTL Eurocollege’s ongoing commitment to international collaboration, academic excellence, and cross-cultural dialogue in the field of tourism education.
