AI in Higher Education

The training programme “AI in Higher Education”, organised by the Erasmus Nostrum in Athens (8–12 December), was successfully completed.

The programme brought together 22 academics and university professionals from 13 countries participating in the Erasmus+ Programme, who exchanged experiences and best practices on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education.

Ms Dora Konstantinou (PhD C) - Academic Dean and Head of Computing Field at Ctl Eurocollege, was the instructor of this training and delivered a highly interactive workshop focusing on best practices for the responsible and effective use of AI in higher education.

As part of the training, a small-scale research study was also conducted to explore the impact of AI training on participants’ AI literacy skills. Initial findings indicate a positive impact, both in terms of improved understanding of Artificial Intelligence and the adoption of appropriate practices for its use.
The full research results are expected soon, together with a proposed practical AI toolset designed to support both teaching activities and effective academic and administrative management, in alignment with the AI Act regulatory framework.
