Brief description

Dr. Marilia Kountouridou holds a PhD in Marketing from the European University Cyprus (awarded without revisions) and a Master’s degree in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Leeds (Distinction). In 2024, she earned a Certificate in Digital Marketing Strategy from Harvard Business School.

She is currently an Assistant Professor in Marketing at CTL Eurocollege (since 2020) and a Scientific Collaborator at European University Cyprus, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in her areas of expertise. These include marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, branding, advertising, sales promotion, copywriting in digital marketing, public relations (PR), integrated marketing communications (IMC), consumer behavior, and related fields.

Dr. Kountouridou has extensive teaching experience in higher education and has supervised numerous dissertations and theses. She has also held marketing coordination roles in the financial and public relations industries, focusing on social media marketing, public relations, and digital marketing strategies.

Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Iranian Journal of Management Studies and Transnational Marketing Journal. She has also contributed book chapters and presented at international conferences. Her research interests focus on digital marketing, social media marketing, branding, and consumer behavior.
