Stray Dog Raising Awareness Campaign
Ctl Eurocollege, in its efforts to raise stray dog awareness, is organizing a donation campaign. The amount received will be donated to Hope for Homeless Cyprus.
A donation box is placed at the reception. Your donation can save a life.
According to estimations by Cyprus Voice of Animals, around 20.000 dogs are killed by euthanasia each year. The number of abandoned dogs and puppies in Cyprus is about 170.000 per year. If they survive starvation, poisoning, or being hit by a car, they may end up in a shelter where volunteers will try to find for them a home and if they are lucky they will be adopted. The cost of running a shelter is extremely high as the number of abandoned dogs is increasing all the time.
