Aim of the Programme
The Travel & Tourism Management programme aims to introduce students to the Travel & Tourism industry. More specifically, the aim of the programme is to serve the needs of students aiming to gain a thorough overview of how the Travel & Tourism industry and the various segments affecting it operate and interact, and how external forces moderate and influence the industry and its activities.
The programme also aims to demonstrate the impact of Travel & Tourism on a country’s economy, culture and environment. Students will be able to choose and apply all appropriate methods in order to satisfy the travellers’ needs but also understand and create numerous attractions which will motivate individuals to travel. The programme aims to assist students in identifying, analysing and evaluating the resources that affect the individual’s decision to travelling.
Students are also taught in depth about advanced fares calculations and ticketing, and the Amadeus Computer Reservations System.
